IA to shuttle Chennai-Bangkok 3 days a week

CHENNAI, July 10
INDIAN Airlines has increased its frequencies to Bangkok from Chennai to three times a week from the existing twice-a-week service on Thursdays and Sundays.
According to a press release from the airline, from Monday, the airline would operate an additional Airbus 320 service on this sector on Tuesdays also.
Indian Airlines has also provided a new link between Delhi and Bangkok with an introduction of a direct Airbus 320 service on the Delhi-Bangkok-Delhi sector from Monday. The three-times-a-week service will leave Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The existing operation on the Calcutta-Yangon-Singapore sector has been restructured delinking Singapore to operate on the Calcutta-Yangon-Bangkok sector. The existing Airbus 320 flight on the Calcutta-Yangon-Singapore sector has been restructured delin
king Yangon to operate on the Calcutta-Bangkok-Singapore sector.
Indian Airlines has withdrawn the Calcutta-Dibrugarh-Calcutta flight on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the Calcutta-Dhaka-Calcutta flight on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the Yangon-Singapore-Yangon flights on Wednesdays, Calcutta-Yangon- Singapore-Yangon-
Calcutta on Saturdays till further notice. The Calcutta-Dhaka-Calcutta flights on Sundays has been withdrawn till September 30.
