P&G launches new Ariel Power Compact

CHENNAI: Procter & Gamble Home Products Ltd has launched the new Ariel Power Compact detergent in the country. The detergent reportedly uses technology that removes the dinginess from clothes and restores the original colour of the fabric by detecting an d removing deposits that are left behind from successive washes.

The detergent also comes with two perfumes, wet odour and dry odour. While wet odour is the perfume given off while the clothes are being washed, dry odour is the perfume that lingers on after the clothes have been dried and ironed. The product is accomp anied by a `starter kit' which is priced at Rs.55, and includes a 200g pack of the new detergent and an Ariel Power Brush. The detergent also comes in several other sizes including a 1kg pack, 500gm pack, 200gm pack and 22gm sachet, priced at Rs. 155, Rs . 85, Rs. 36 and Rs. 4 respectively. -- Our Bureau
