BHEL bags Rs 14-cr HFCL order
NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged a Rs. 14-crore order from Hindustan Fertiliser Corporation Ltd (HFCL), Namrup, for a compressor and drive steam turbine package.
According to an official release, the order was bagged under an international competitive bidding system.
The equipment will be manufactured at BHEL's Hyderabad plant and the contract is to be executed in a tight schedule of 11 months.
Gets ISO-14001: BHEL's Bangalore plant has bagged the ISO 14001 certification of Det Norske Vertas (DNV).
According to an official release, BHEL's two plants at Haridwar besides the plants located at Bhopal and Tiruchi have been recommended for the ISO 14001 certification.
The BHEL Chairman and Managing Director, r. K.G. Ramachandran,received the ISO 14001 certificate from Mr. Ashok Kapur, lead auditor of DNV, at a function held on Wednesday at Bangalore. -- Our Bureau
