Tanishq opens 2nd showroom in Kerala

KOCHI: Tanishq, the jewellery division of Titan Industries Ltd, has opened its second showroom in Kerala.

With this showroom at Kochi, the number of Tanishq showrooms in the country has increased to 40. Addressing a press conference during the launch recently, Mr. Jacob Kurian, Chief Operating Officer, said the Tanishq range would be available in both 18 and 22 karats and has been selected from over 2,500 designs. The products derive its inspiration from traditional motifs, nature, art and architecture.

The Kochi showroom is the third largest showroom in the country and the targeted crowd is the younger generation. Mr. Kurian said the first showroom in the State, which was opened in Kozhikode, had performed well despite competition from local jewellers. As part of the sales promotion, the company is planning to have ad campaigns both in print and electronic media. The campaign is expected to start in October. -- Our Bureau
