Sify ties up with Landmark

CHENNAI, Sept. 13

SATYAM Infoway Ltd (Sify), an Internet service provider (ISP) and e-commerce company, on Wednesday announced that the bookstore at the shopping channel of its consumer portal, sify.com, now offers over 1.75 lakh books following a tie-up with Landmark, a retailer of books.

According to officials, Sify would get a listing fee and a commission on each transaction. The listing fee was between Rs 20,000 to Rs 2 lakh based on the product offering and the commissions would range between 12 and 18 per cent, the official said.

Landmark has a presence in Chennai, Coimbatore and Calcutta and has to its credit an ISO-9002 certification.
