Sierra Atlantic, Entreon in e-biz solution pact

HYDERABAD, Sept. 13

SIERRA Atlantic, an i3-Frameworks company promoting unified business model across enterprises, and Entreon, a major provider of Enterprise Business Model (EBM) management solutions, have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Sierra's i3-Framewor ks with EBM to leverage complex business models and associated rules stored in e-business and enterprise applications.

With this initiative to integrate i3-Frameworks with EBM, companies can exchange enterprise information seamlessly across networked applications without re-inventing business models. This speeds up deployment of applications and in the process enables in adapting to the changing business landscape.

Sierra Atlantic accelerates the deployment of collaborative commerce networks through i3 Frameworks, with category leaders such as Oracle, Agile, Siebel and Nuance.

This enables in integrating e-business processes through extended enterprise.

Sierra Atlantic leverages its India-based global development centre of Sierra Optima located in Hyderabad.

Its customers include emerging new-economy leaders spanning high technology, communications, process and financial services industries.

Entreon enables its customers develop and deploy enterprise business model management software solutions to better understand, analyse and manage the enterprise.

It is among the first software vendors to deliver an enterprise business modelling facility with the ability to capture and visualise, manage, broker, exchange and communicate the enterprise business model.

This new business model drives and synchronises the business confugeration of every enterprise application.

Entreon, through its StarBeam EBM software, enables management to understand the profitability of its model and visualises all B2B partner interactions.

For companies to implement e-business solutions, they need to ensure that their enterprise business model is consistent and logically identical across all software applications to process business transactions accurately and efficiently. These solutions are handy for such applications.

Earlier, defining business models within software applications was an arduous task taking several months to build and execute.
