THE Railway Board has given its nod for limited rebidding by the four consultants who had earlier been shortlisted to prepare a business plan and suggest a capital structure for RailTel Corporation. New guidelines have now been stipulated for combined ev aluation of technical and price bids.

All-time high coal discharge at Vizag port
THE Vizag port has created record by discharging 48,861 tonnes of coking coal even before the commencement of laytime. This has resulted in an earning of dispatch money of $28,000 and saving in standing cost of about $70,000.

User fee may be scrapped at Kozhikode airport
The user fee charged for international passengers at the Kozhikode airport in Kerala is likely to be scrapped by the end of the year, when the extension to the airport's runway is completed, according to a senior official of the Airports Authority of Ind ia (AAI).
