Maybelline unleashes lipstick range
CHENNAI: Maybelline New York has introduced Mattes from Moisture Whip lipsticks for everyday wear. The product has colours ranging from browns and mauves to plums, created specially to suit Indian skin tones and trends, says a press release.

Chaitime.com relaunches US site
CHENNAI: Chaitime.com, the South Asian online community and affinity marketing company, has announced the relaunch of its US site. The site has revamped channels with new content and features across old favourites such as singles scene and astrology, and enhancement in new areas such as education and careers. The site also has a new Bazaar area, where users can shop and send gifts to India. The company is also planning to launch UK and India sites later this month with country-specific content and servi ces. These steps are part of the company's overall strategy to build on its strong global position and brand name, says a release.

Fisher-Price workshop
CHENNAI: Four paediatricians, Dr Nomeeta Gupta, Dr Mahabir Daruka, Dr Raju Khubchandani and Dr Arvind Shenoy, will visit the Fisher-Price Child Research Centre on an interaction programme. The centre houses play labs where child behaviour is studied with respect to playing habits and different responses to a wide variety of toys. The insights from the analysis of the children's behaviour are used in toys, says a press release.

Cocoa surplus helps sustain chocolate prices
PRICES of branded chocolates have displayed divergent trends over the past year. On one hand, there has been an increase in the maximum retail prices (MRPs) of the larger pack sizes of established brands. On the other hand, the MRP of the popular pack si zes and brands appear to be heading southwards.

Triton Group acquires Mumbai agency
THE Rs 250-crore Triton Group has acquired a local ad agency, the Mumbai-based Metaphor Ltd, to take care of its conflicting accounts within a particular industry. Positioning Metaphor as a `creative boutique', the acquired agency will include upmarket b rands like Benzer in its portfolio.
