FIEO, Chinese body sign pact

NEW DELHI, Sept. 18

THE Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop and promote economic and trade relations between the two countries.

An FIEO statement said that the memorandum was signed at Beijing on behalf of FIEO by its Vice-President, Mr K.K. Jain, and the Vice-Chairman of the CCPIT, Mr Wang Xiu.

According to the memorandum, the FIEO and the CCPIT had agreed to promote cooperation in investment and trade between enterprises in both the countries by way of joint ventures, collaborations and other forms of business cooperation.
