CHENNAI, Sept. 18

SATYAM Infoway Ltd, an Internet and e-commerce company, on Monday announced the acquisition of FormsIndia.com for a consideration of Rs 37.50 lakh in an all-cash deal.

According to a company release, FormsIndia.com is Web site with a database of forms available for downloading and printing by public and corporates.

FormsIndia.com specialises in posting forms ranging from passport to excise and customs.

This portal would be synchronised with other business-to-business portals which the company owns so that the full benefit of dealing through the Internet is passed on to the user, according to a company official.
