Poliskript Technologies floats Java-SIG
HYDERABAD: Poliskript Technologies Ltd has established a Java-Special Interest Group (SIG) in India, modelled on similar initiatives in Silicon Valley to nurture the development of Java.
The Java-SIG, which plans to meet once a month, is expected to address issues related to the Java technology -- solutions, products, business concepts and venture capital.
Though this is to be held at Hyderabad, anybody can participate through mailing list by enrolling as members at JavaSIG-India@eGroups.com, or www.skript.com/javasig/index.htm, according to a company release.
The first meeting was held at Hyderabad recently, where representatives from over 60 software companies participated.
Mr Vijay Angadi, Managing Director of ICF Ventures, a venture capital company, addressed the SIG gathering. -- Our Bureau
