Our Bureau
CHENNAI, Nov. 26
MANY companies think that they are just not big enough to own their own Web sites or use the Internet e-mail. The problem is that they think small, citing finance or maintenance as major problems.
For such companies the Chennai-based Enmail.com has the answer. The company launched its commercial Internet e-mail services for businesses. Enmail.com will offer free dotcom hosting for small business, providing 25 MB of space.
Says Mr Karthik Iyer, the company's Managing Director, by signing up with Enmail.com, a company gets an Internet address and personalised e-mail identities for all the employees. This is not only cost-effective, as it eliminates the need for large invest
ment, but also secured, he said.
Talking to newspersons here on Friday, Mr Iyer said for Internet e-mail for 10 employees the cost is Rs 10,000 per annum and for 25 employees the price is Rs 20,000 per annum. For every additional employee the tariff is Rs 1,000 per annum, he said.
The company also announced the launch of its channel partner programme, `eSP', enmail Service Provider. Mr Iyer said helping companies get on to the Internet presents a huge market opportunity, and partnering with enmail.com allows eSPs to present the In
ternet in a simple user-friendly manner.
