BPL Mobile slashes airtime rates

MUMBAI: In a bid to expand its share in the cellular market, BPL Mobile Communications Ltd has brought down its air time rate from Rs 6 to Rs 4 per minute for its pre-paid card - Mots, said a press release.

This move brings BPL mobile's airtime charges for the pre-paid card at par with the regular BPL mobile connection, said the release.

Mots, which has an initial cost of Rs 249, offers subscribers the flexibility of choosing their budget by charging their SIM card with talktime through a Mots recharge voucher. The vouchers are available in denominations ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 4,500 a t BPL Mobile outlets. -- Our Bureau
