Alembic: Revenue pep, but...

THE permission received by Alembic to market a generic drug in the European Union countries may not lead to any immediate improvement in the valuation of the stock.

Alembic has secured the Certificate of Suitability for Roxithromycin whose patent expires this month in Germany and later in other countries. While the development may improve export and revenue base, the effect on profitability may take time to material ise. In this context, in the near term, this development may not have any significant bearing on the stock price. -- BL Research Bureau
