Antarix unveils horizontal portal

CHENNAI, Feb. 21

THE Chennai-based Antarix e Applications Ltd, a global

application service provider (ASP) and part of the DSQ group, has launched Six2sixty.com, a family horizontal portal.

Targeted at those between six and 60, the portal had five channels -- Kids, Youth, Working women, Technology and Senior citizens -- with information and articles for readers, a company release said.

The company, in association with DSQ Software, will host a technology hub (Shaastra) in IIT, Madras from February 21-25.

At the event, it will demonstrate JuzzFone, a natural dialogue-enabled portal. The company also planned to launch Populartechnologies.com, the release said.

JuzzFone enabled development functioning of telephone-based human machine dialogue systems, and was equipped with speech recognition to listens to the callers, interpret content and context of the users' request, and give appropriate response, the releas e added.
