Metaljunction.com board chairman
KOLKATA: Mr.M.K.Moitra, director (restructuring & corporate planning) of Steel Authority of India Ltd was elected chairman at the first meeting held here of the board of Metaljunction.com, the steel e-commerce joint venture of SAIL, Tata Steel and Kalyan
i Steels.
SAIL and Tata Steel hold 40 per cent each in the venture and 20 per cent is held by Kalyani Steels.
According to informed sources, Metaljunction.com aims to launch its B2B portal in the next three-four months. Initially, it would start with steel marketing and increase the scope of its functioning in stages. --Our Bureau
