New range of modular switches launched

HYDERABAD: Techno Plastics (India) Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based company manufacturing plate-type electrical switches, has launched `CPL Synchro', a new range of designer modular switches and accessories, in the State.

According to Mr Ashok Choksi, Managing Director, the company achieved a turnover of Rs 25 crore, 30 per cent of which was from exports, in last fiscal. The demand for the products has been so much that he is hopeful of achieving a turnover of Rs 45 crore by the end of next year.

The company's products are exported to East Africa, Middle East, Nigeria, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.

CPL Synchro has a front loading system that makes changing of modules hassle-free and the electrical accessories have a special shrink pack and hologram.

Mr Choksi said the steep rise in demand for the company's products was because they were cost-effective and secure besides being of superior quality. The company was aiming at producing gold-plated modular frames for the switches in six months. The switc hes would be in different colours to suit the preferences of consumers. -- Our Bureau
