Entrepreneur programme

MUMBAI, April 30

MR Mukesh D. Ambani, Vice-Chairman of Reliance Petroleum, will represent India at the `Ernst & Young world entrepreneur of the year' award programme to be held in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in May.

Addressing a press gathering, Mr Kashi N. Memani, Chairman, Ernst & Young, India, said: "To increase the visibility of the contribution the entrepreneurs are making to the global economy, we have expanded the scope of the existing award by creating the world entrepreneur of the year award programme. From now on this will be an annual feature as well."

The countries participating in the award programme include Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the US and UK.
