Zensar bags Honeywell order

PUNE: Pune-based Zensar Technologies, a software solution provider, has been chosen by Honeywell Europe to upgrade its Oracle applications. The order is worth about Rs 2.4 crore, according to a company release.

The release said that Zensar would help Honeywell to migrate from the earlier version of Oracle to the recent 11i in its European establishments of the UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The Honeywell assignment was the outcome of its long-term st rategy of focussing on parallel growth in the non-US markets, it added.

11i (i for Internet) is Oracle's enterprise resource planning (ERP) package and can link an organisation's internal business process to the Internet for faster and wider applications. The new package also provided a host of additional functionalities, th e release added. -- Our Bureau
