License for Web sites?
It is reported that the Government is planning to include a section in the proposed Convergence Bill (Computers, Communications and broadcasting) requiring those wanting to create a web site on the Internet, to take a licence. This might not be a good mo ve.

Policy
Ceasefire and after
The Government has decided not to extend the unilateral ceasefire at the border but, instead, has invited the Pakistan premier, Gen Pervez Musharraf, for a meaningful dialogue on the dispute between the two countries. Now the ball is in Pakistan's court. Our neighbour should view things in the proper perspective and respond positively rather than engage in terrorist activities.
