Mixed trend in CSE

CALCUTTA:THE Calcutta Stock Exchange on Wednesday saw the counters of Infosys, Ranbaxy, Satyam Computers, ACC and Silverline travel northward on buying interest.

The scrips of Wipro, Eveready, DSQ Biotech, Tata Steel and Rolta, however, declined on selling. Satyam Computers topped in terms of turnover (Rs 29.26 crore).

The CSE-50, after touching a low of 114.70, closed at 122.73 points against the previous closing of 121.73. The total turnover of the bourse stood at Rs 70.89 crore. -- Our Bureau
