Survey on export credit

MUMBAI: The National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) is conducting a survey to identify the procedural problems in export credit.

The survey is aimed at getting feedback on the simplification of procedures for export credit delivery and the level of exporters satisfaction with bank services, said a release from the Reserve Bank of India, at whose instance NCAER is doing the survey.

The council had commenced the preliminary work of the survey and would be approaching the exporters and base level bank functionaries at major export centres for their views and opinions.

The RBI has requested the exporters and functionaries of various banks to extend co-operation to the representatives of NCAER and communicate their views so that the findings of the survey can help RBI in taking further initiatives for improving the cred it delivery system for exporters, the release said. -- Our Bureau
