Astra Microwave net profit at Rs 1.08 crore
HYDERABAD: Astra Microwave Products Ltd (AMPL) has registered a significant growth both in turnover and net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal ended June 30, 2001.
According to the unaudited financial results, AMPL has achieved a sales turnover of Rs 2.94 crore (Rs 1.55 crore), other income of Rs 19.95 lakh (Rs 50.83 lakh) and a net profit of Rs 1.08 crore (Rs 44.01 lakh) on an equity base of Rs 3.6 crore (Rs 1.65
crore).
For the period under review, the company incurred an expenditure of Rs 1.88 crore (Rs 1.48 crore) and provided Rs 9.16 lakh towards interest (Rs 7.01 lakh) and Rs 8.78 lakh towards depreciation (Rs 6.22 lakh).
During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2001, the company posted a net profit of Rs 3.47 crore on a turnover of Rs 12.74 crore with reserves amounting to Rs 9.43 crore. -- Our Bureau
