Panel approves IAS postings

NEW DELHI, Aug 9
THE Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Mano Ranajan, IAS, as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
Ms Komal Anand, IAS, Director-General Archeological Survey of India, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Department of Culture. Ms Kasturi Gupta Menon, IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Culture will join as Director-General Archeological Survey of
India as Additional Secretary.
According to an official release, Mr A.K. Gupta, IAS, has been appointed as Adviser to the Chairperson, First Afro-Asian Games Organising Committee, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, for a tenure up to November 30, 2001.
