3-day electrical products expo in Chennai

CHENNAI: A 3-day exhibition on electrical products, Electrica 2002, to be held in Chennai between August 10 and 12 will showcase the latest products and developments in electrical and electronic industries, according to a press release from the Madras El ectric Trades Association (META).

Open to business visitors in the mornings and to the general public in the afternoon, the event targets engineers, contractors and builders, architects, interior designers and consultants. It will also update the public on the latest products on offer, t he release said.

Electrica 2000 held in July, 1999, attracted 35,000 visitors and generated business worth Rs 15 crore during the three days, according to the release. -- Our Bureau
