BHPV bags Chennai Petroleum order

HYDERABAD: The Visakhapatnam-based Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels Ltd (BHPV), a Government of India enterprise and a subsidiary of Bharat Yantra Nigam Ltd, has bagged a major order from Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd to manufacture 130-tonne high-pres sure oil-fired boiler.

The Rs 42-crore boiler is to be designed for operating at high pressures (95 kg/sq cm) and high temperature (505 degree centigrade). The boiler is to be designed, developed and commissioned over to CPCL within 18 months from the date of the order, accord ing to a BHPV communique. -- Our Bureau
