Nagarjuna Fertilizers PBT at Rs 19.65 cr

HYDERABAD: Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (NFCL) has posted a turnover of Rs 362.27 crore, other income of Rs 11.6 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 19.65 crore for the quarter ended September 2001.

Both the turnover as well as profit of the company declined during the period under consideration when compared to the turnover of Rs 444.8 crore, other income of Rs 10.14 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 26.9 crore registered during the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

According to the unaudited financial results for the quarter, taken on record by the company's board, NFCL has incurred an expenditure of Rs 251.75 crore and provided Rs 73.71 crore towards interest charges and Rs 29.78 crore for depreciation. -- Our Bur eau
