Vikrant posts loss

BANGALORE: Vikrant Tyres has made a net loss of Rs 3.24 crore of a net sales of Rs 124.51 crore (Rs 120.15 cr) in the quarter ended September 30, 2001, as against Rs 33 lakh profit in the same period last year.

The companys interest has gone up to Rs 8.53 crore as compared to Rs 3 crore in the same quarter last year. Staff cost has also gone up to Rs 10.47 crore (Rs 9.64 crore) There has been a negative earnings per share of Rs 1.26 (Re 0.13). -- Our Bureau
