Duncan Info to offer biz intelligence

HYDERABAD, Oct. 29
DUNCAN Infotech, a software solutions firm, has announced its plan to offer business intelligence, data warehousing and decision processing solutions to the Indian marketplace around the Brio Performance Suite.
The company has entered into a relationship with Brio Software, the business performance software company. These products are planned to be showcased at the mega-IT meet at Bangalore.
As part of this arrangement, Duncan Infotech will offer business intelligence, data warehousing and online activity processing (OLAP) solutions that would include marketing, requirements analysis, customisation and maintenance.
To address this emerging market space, the company has set up a dedicated technical team for supporting Brio's business intelligence solutions, which include performance portal, reports and allows an organisation to evaluate its enterprise wide performan
ce by providing complete data analysis, reporting and information delivery tools.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Duncan Infotech, Dr P.K. Mukherjee, said Indian businesses will gain from the combination of Brio's product capabilities and Duncan's solutions expertise.
According to Mr Douglas Bellin, Regional Manager, South Asia, Brio Software, India is a fantastic market opportunity for Brio. There is a growing need among Indian businesses to drive higher value from their B2B information sources, he added.
Duncan Infotech, a division of Duncan Industries Ltd and part of the diversified Duncan Goenka group, has established centres in the areas of Internet technologies, health care, Oracle-based solutions and enterprise solutions. The company has a developme
