Moderate demand at ICTA sale

BANGALORE, Nov. 3
THE Indian Coffee Trade Association's (ICTA) auction witnessed moderate demand and some 27.73 per cent of the 439 tonnes offered was sold. Prices witnessed marginal change over previous week.
The sale witnessed fair demand by locals, who covered substantial quantity ahead of the forthcoming festive season, while exporters remained quiet owing to disparity of prices. In the world market negative sentiments continued to prevail.
Prices are as follows: Arabica parchment PB was sold at Rs 58.24 a kg (Rs 55.52 last week). Arabica parchment A Rs 52.18 (Rs 51.44); arabica parchment B Rs 37.68 (Rs 35.80); parchment C Rs 34.20 (Rs 32.62); parchment BBB Rs 23.58 (Rs 27.36).
Arabica cherry PB Rs 34.74 (Rs 34.12); cherry AB Rs 33.72 (Rs 36.06); cherry C Rs 25.56 (Rs 25); cherry BBB Rs 23.08.
Robusta parchment PB Rs 26.56; parchment AB Rs 27.22 (Rs 25.44); parchment C Rs 24.50 (Rs 24.50) and parchment BBB Rs 20.70 (Rs 21).
Robusta cherry PB Rs 26.66 (Rs 26.02); cherry AB Rs 28.14 (Rs 26.92); cherry C Rs 24.32 (Rs 23.26) and robusta cherry BBB Rs 21.18 (Rs 20.74).
