Assocham presses for labour reforms

NEW DELHI: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) said on Wednesday that the Cabinet Committee on Economic Reforms should give top priority to labour law reforms to bring about more competitiveness to the domestic industry.

The chamber also said in a statement that steps needed to be taken to enhance foreign direct investments (FDI) inflows into the country. -- Our Bureau
