More IA flights on Delhi-Leh route

NEW DELHI, May 20

ALLIANCE Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Indian Airlines, will operate nine additional flights to Leh from May 26 to June 4 to meet the increased demand for seats for the seventh annual Sindhu Darshan festival.

In a statement, the airline has said that while there will be eight additional flights between Delhi and Leh, there will also be one additional flight between Jammu and Leh. The additional flights from Delhi will leave the Capital at 5.30 a.m. on May 26, 27, 30 and 31 and arrive in Leh at 6.45 a.m. On May 28, the additional flight from Jammu will depart at 9 a.m. and arrive in Leh at 9.45 a.m.

The additional flights from Delhi to Leh on June 2 and 3 will leave at 5.45 a.m. and 5.30 a.m.

Besides, there will be two additional flights from Delhi to Leh on June 4, with the first scheduled to leave at 5.30 a.m. and the second, 15 minutes later.
