Rubber erases Monday's gains

RUBBER market fell back to weeked rates in the absence of buyers on Tuesday. After a days trading, the covering group vanished from the trading floor and all the grades shed Monday's gains against the expectations.

In the futures market, August delivery quoted at Rs 44.73, September at Rs 44.70 and October at Rs 44.62 per kg.

Spot market rates on Tuesday were)Rs/kg) RSS 4 Rs 44.00 (44.25); RSS 5 Rs 42.50 (42.75); ungraded rubber Rs 40.00 (40.50); ISNR 20 Rs 42.25 (42.50); latex Rs 34.50 (35.00).
