Jute Corpn purchase centres

HYDERABAD: Jute Corporation of India Ltd (JTCL) has opened 13 purchasing centres in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts to purchase jute (hemp) from the farmers at a minimum support price (MSP).

The MSP for the `bottom' grade of the jute product has been fixed at Rs 802 per quintal. The centres would be located at Balijipet, Bobbili, Donkinivalasa, Gajapatinagaram, Parvathipuram, Vizianagaram, Cheepurupally, Makkuva in Vizianagarm district and at Amudalavalasa, Rajam, Ponduru, Kotabommali and Hiramandalam in Srikakulam district, according to an official release here.
