DUE to the heavy rush created by the response to the Reliance Hungama Offer, there have been some delays in processing applications, a statement from Reliance Infocomm IndiaMobile service said on Tuesday.

Reliance Infocomm has stated that the process adopted is of scrutiny of the customer application forms followed by physical verification of address, which is carried out by independent agencies.

To ensure that there is no hardship to the customer during the verification period, Reliance said it had not collected upfront booking amount from its customers from July 5.

After the completion of the process of verification, a customer is informed through the channel partners and payment is collected at the time of handset delivery.
