Royal Sundaram's schemes for SMEs

ROYAL Sundaram, the Chennai-based private non-life insurer, has introduced `Enterprise' - a suite of products that provide "specialised and tailored covers designed to cater to the requirements of small and medium industries." The product offers the policyholder the convenience of covering all their risks under this "single policy."

Enterprise provides fire, marine, engineering, public liability and product liability covers for offices, shops, dealers/distributors and retailers, hotels, manufacturing units, motor dealers and property owners.

According to Mr Antony Jacob, Deputy Managing Director, Royal Sundaram, "SME business for 2003-04 is expected to constitute over 8 per cent of our total premium income."
