SAP India offers solutions for SMBs

SAP India, a major enterprise business software solutions provider, has announced the launch of specially configured micro-vertical standardised easy to deploy solutions for the small and medium segment with a turnover below Rs 350 crore.

Mr Srinivas Rao, Head, Small and Medium Businesses SAP India, addressing a press conference here on Tuesday said that SAP as a company has laid focus on SMBs and is eyeing the number one slot in the Asia Pacific region by 2005.

In spite of a 12 per cent de-growth in this space last year in India, SAP has enhanced its market share, as per IDC findings. The year 2001 registered total business of about Rs 217 crore.
