Mumbai , Aug. 13

IN a move intended to consolidate customer service and marketing for the Tata group's telecom products and services, the Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (TIEBU) has entered into a strategic alliance with Tata Telecom for co-marketing the latter's end-to-end converged communications products and solutions to India's top corporates.

TIEBU, which was formed only a few months ago, is the common customer interface for four Tata group telecom companies — VSNL, Tata Teleservices, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and Tata Internet Services Ltd.

Tata Telecom will benefit by further enhancing its market penetration in the convergence segment, said a news release from TIEBU.
