Telecommunications Marketing - Strategy Two Tata group units in pact Our Bureau
Mumbai , Aug. 13 IN a move intended to consolidate customer service and marketing for the Tata group's telecom products and services, the Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (TIEBU) has entered into a strategic alliance with Tata Telecom for co-marketing the latter's end-to-end converged communications products and solutions to India's top corporates. TIEBU, which was formed only a few months ago, is the common customer interface for four Tata group telecom companies VSNL, Tata Teleservices, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and Tata Internet Services Ltd. Tata Telecom will benefit by further enhancing its market penetration in the convergence segment, said a news release from TIEBU.
