Moderate fall in Copra edible prices on good supply

MUMBAI: Prices of copra edible Mumbai declined moderately in an otherwise steady spices market here today in the absence of demand from retailers amidst good supplies from producing belts.

Copra edible Mumbai fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,950 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 5,000.

Following are Wednesday's closing rates in rupees with previous rates in brackets: Black Pepper (per kilo) 148/158 (148/158), ginger bleached (per kilo) 100 (100), ginger unbleached (per kilo) 110 (110), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4300 (4300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4150 (4150), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6600 (6600) and copra Edible Mumbai (per quintal) 4950 (5000). - PTI
