Info-Tech Aptech in JV with Brazilian group MUMBAI: IT training solutions provider, Aptech Ltd, is betting big on the huge Brazilian market and has entered into a 51:49 joint venture with the Falgo group to set up IT training centres in that country. “Latin America is a huge focus area for us. We plan to tap that market through Brazil where we have entered into a joint venture with the Falgo group. Brazil will be Aptech's hub for the LatAm (Latin American) region,” Aptech's CEO and Managing Director, Mr Ninad Karpe, said here on Sunday. The investment in the Brazilian venture is pegged at $1 million. The company aims to have around 100 centres in LatAm in the next three to four years. After Brazil, the company plans to enter Mexico and Chile “which are important markets on our radar,” Mr Karpe said. After LatAm, the company is eyeing West Africa where it is planning a entry in the next two-years. “As we grow our overseas business, it will start to increasingly contribute to our total revenues in the next three to four years,” Mr Karpe said, without, however, revealing any figures. The first centre in Brazil will be set up by August and the company plans to enhance its network in that country to around 50 in the next three years. - PTI
