•	Subex Q2 net down 58 pc BANGALORE: Subex Systems Ltd, a Bangalore-based telecom software company, has reported a 29.5 per cent fall in net profit for the second quarter ended September 30 over the previous quarter.
•	Few takers for e-sign validation ONE year after the IT Act spoke of the need for Certifying Authorities (CAs) to validate and authenticate online business, the Government is still waiting to appoint a CA.

•	Nortel launches Alteon firewall BANGALORE: Nortel Networks has introduced the Alteon Switched Firewall System in India. This system will enable customers secure their networks with greater ease and performance, as well as increase data throughput by an order of magnitude over current f irewall systems, a Nortel Networks release said.
