Teachers salary

Sir, _ Every year we see that the matriculation schools increase the fee collected from the students. But it is significant to note that the teachers working in these matriculation schools are poorly paid.

When these teachers approach the management for a hike in the salary, in terms of experience and seniority, the management justifies their stand by saying that the teachers are also gaining work experience in their schools. This is acceptable for novice teachers during their first few years. But there are many experienced and senior teachers who draw a meagre amount as salary.

I, therefore, request the management of matriculation schools to consider raising the salary for teachers, keeping in mind cost of living and various other things.
