The Oscar marathon



`Ben-Hur' on HBO, Sunday, 23.00.

THIS TIME it is quality Vs quantity on HBO. Catch the all time great hits in the most extensive television tribute to the Academy Awards, an exhilarating Oscar feast of winners of cinematic excellence. This time, in addition to the Oscar marathon, the channel goes one step further and makes the audience the jury of the academy awards through its "Pick the Winners" contest. The contest is hosted on website too (hboasia.com).

The contest is about nominating a winner each from four most prestigious category of the Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Winners will get bumper prizes for getting all correct answers and the ones who give just one right answer will win exciting gifts.

The first film in this marathon is "Batman" to be aired on March 1 at 11.30 p.m. followed by "Ben-Hur" on March 2 at 11.00 p.m.
