  • Six killed in multi-storey building collapse

    New Delhi (PTI): At least six people were killed and several others injured when a multi-storey under construction building collapsed in the wee hours today in north east Delhi, police said.

    More than 20 people were critically injured when the building in New Usmanpur locality collapsed and shifted to GTB hospital.

    Six of the injured succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, sources said, adding the casualty figure may go up.

    Several people are still trapped in the debris of the building, police said, adding resuce operations were on to save those trapped.

    Most of the victims were labourers engaged in the construction of the building.
