    Paes, Bhupathi crash out of Rome Masters

    New Delhi (PTI): Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi crashed out of the Rome Masters after losing their respective second-round doubles' matches.

    Fourth seeds Bhupathi and Mark Knowles squandered a one-set lead to go down 7-6 (4) 4-6 7-10 to Spaniards Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco.

    Paes and his Australian partner Paul Hanley, seeded eighth, also lost in similar fashion to the Polish duo of Manisuz Furstenberg and Marcon Matkowski.

    The Indo-Australia pair lost 6-4 3-6 6-10.
