I trust Indian doctors: Amitabh Bachchan

Chennai (PTI): Terming Indian doctors as more talented than their western counterparts, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan on Friday said he would prefer them treating him whenever he fell ill.

"I trust Indian doctors and always prefer them treating me. The Indian doctors are doing wonders in the medical field and they are more talented compared to western doctors," Bachchan said here today, while spending time with a group of poor children, who had undergone free cardiac surgery at a private hospital.

Lauding the hospital for performing the surgery free of cost, Bachchan donated Rs 11 lakhs as a goodwill gesture.

Bachchan is in the city to participate in the audio release of Tamil actor Kamal Haasan's new movie "Dasavathaaram".
