`Housie' game for fone freaks

After playing Cupid for Valentine's Day, Airtel has come out with another SMS offer for its customers to play along in between talking incessantly on the teeny-weeny cellular. A `Housie' game has been started which is based on the popular numbers game of `Tambola', a must in all social gatherings.

To participate, the subscriber needs to type in `Housie' and send it to 444 upon which he will receive two messages. The first is the game coupon and the second is the first call number. To confirm receiving the call number, the subscriber has to type `YES' followed by the call number and send it to 444.

In case, the call number is not on the coupon, the subscriber has to type `NEXT' to receive the next call number and get on with the game being conducted on a daily basis till March 31, 2002. A subscriber can participate any number of times and coupons are automatically generated by the system and valid till the end of the day.

On completion of the top line on the coupon, subscribers can win gift hampers from Cadbury's, from Pizza Corner on completing the second line and from Britannia on completing the last line. If all lines are done with on a coupon, there are pearls from `Mangatrai' on the offer.
