Swamy demands PM's resignation

NEW DELHI, DEC. 31. TheJanata Party president, Dr. Subramaniam Swamy today condemned, Vajpayee Government's decision to free three hardcore terrorists in exchange for the release of hostages on board the hijacked Indian Airlines plane at Kandahar.

In a statement here, he said ``this shocking capitulation and surrender is a sell out of India's national interest and security.''

``It is also a betrayal of the sacrifices of our jawans in Kargil and of our police in Kashmir. It has undermined our struggle against terrorists,'' he added demanding the resignation of Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee.
