By P. S. Suryanarayana
SINGAPORE, DEC. 31. The External Affairs Minister, Mr. Jaswant
Singh's proposed two-day visit to Singapore has been postponed
indefinitely on account of his preoccupation with the Indian
Airlines hijack crisis.
He was scheduled to arrive here on January 3 for discussions with
his Singapore counterpart, Prof. S. Jayakumar, and the Prime
Minister, Mr. Goh Chok Tong. Mr. Singh's other key engagement was
a lecture under the auspices of the Institute of Defence and
Strategic Studies on January 4.
