Curfew in Surankot

JAMMU, JAN. 1. Militants armed with sophisticated weapons tried to attack the army brigade headquarters at Surankot this morning. The sentry at the gate retaliated, but the militants shot him dead. Some jawans who came out to rescue the sentry shot at the ultras, killing two and injuring one. The injured militant managed to escape. Curfew was imposed in the town.
